The garage includes five-stories for rental car concession use and four additional stories for airport public parking use.
The facility includes a first-floor maintenance area with fueling, washing and staging for up to 1,000 rental concession spaces and customer access areas, as well as ready return for 3,000 cars. The modernist design of the building is expressive of its use and South Florida location. It is designed to integrate and connect with the adjacent Terminal No.1 through a covered pedestrian bridge.
